Using Flash in Street photography is quite difficult or sometimes uncomfortable, but it gives very satisfying results. After I bought "Ricoh GR Digital", I wanted to make use of the in-built flash in some difficult lighting situations. I also wanted to try flash in night people photography, especially long exposure pictures.

Colors add more value to the picture. it may be a light that enhances the color or some dominant color contrast or color creates some mood. Color is so natural and our world is full of colors.

here are many compositional techniques that can enhance photographs. “Lines” are one such element and create some kind of mood to the pictures.

I love to take Silhouettes whenever I get the right lights and subjects. It is always a satisfying moment when we capture a perfect silhouette.

In 2014, I travelled through Meghalaya, exploring places including Shillong, Cherrapunji, Dawki, Mawlynnong, Riwai, and Mawphlang. Known for its lush landscapes, rolling hills, waterfalls, and living root bridges, Meghalaya offered a very different experience from the rest of India.

Rajasthan is a land of vibrant colours, historic cities, desert landscapes, and rich cultural traditions. During my travels through Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur, and Jaisalmer, I was drawn not only to its architecture and landscapes but also to the people and everyday moments that give each place its unique character.

Portrait photography has always been an important part of my documentary work. Whenever I travel, I enjoy meeting people, learning about their lives and culture, and creating portraits that reflect their individuality.

In 2014, I photographed a Therukoothu performance in Nangamangalam, near Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu. Performed through the night in village streets and open spaces, Therukoothu is one of Tamil Nadu's oldest surviving forms of folk theatre, combining music, dance, storytelling, and drama.

Boats play a very important role for people who live by rivers or lakes or sea. Day to day life of them highly depends on boats in various ways, especially for transport. Boats have a wide variety of sizes, designs and construction methods due to their intended purposes. Some of them are used for transport and some of them are used for fishing. Some boats are used for sports also.

Every year, thousands of transgender women from across India travel to the village of Koovagam in Tamil Nadu to take part in the annual Koothandavar Festival. The festival is rooted in the story of Aravaan from the Mahabharata and is one of the most significant religious and cultural gatherings for the transgender community in India.
