Boats

Boats play a very important role for people who live by rivers or lakes or sea. Day to day life of them highly depends on boats in various ways, especially for transport. Boats have a wide variety of sizes, designs and construction methods due to their intended purposes. Some of them are used for transport and some of them are used for fishing. Some boats are used for sports also.

I always get attracted towards water and boats. It is really exciting to take pictures of boats, people and life around water.

I would like to share some of the pictures taken during the span of 3 years from 2012 to 2015. I have taken these pictures in various parts of India like Chennai, Alapuzha, Kolkata, Varanasi and Dawki, Meghalaya.
