Life in Water

For many years, I have photographed people in and around water across different parts of India.

This series looks at how people move in water—bathing, playing, working, and spending time together. The focus is on small actions and gestures that happen naturally when people are in water.

I was drawn to moments of movement—someone throwing water, children jumping in, or groups shifting and interacting with each other. These moments repeat in different places, creating a quiet connection between them.
