Varanasi, one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities, has long been a place where faith and everyday life unfold side by side along the banks of the River Ganges. Its ghats serve as spaces for worship, ritual, livelihood, celebration, and remembrance, drawing pilgrims, residents, and visitors throughout the year.

Photographed over multiple visits, this documentary project explores the changing rhythms of life along the ghats. Morning prayers, ancestral rituals, wandering sadhus, dhobi workers, boat builders, children at play, and quiet moments between ceremonies come together to reveal the many layers of a city where the sacred and the ordinary exist as one.
