People in rural areas often face uncertainty, as things like pest outbreaks, changing weather, and other environmental pressures can quickly impact their crops and income.

This work looks at the everyday lives of farming communities in Odisha, where cultivation, labour, family, and shared knowledge are part of a closely connected way of life.

Through these moments, it reflects how farmers navigate uncertainty, drawing on experience, cooperation, and knowledge to adapt and sustain their livelihoods.
