For more than ten years, I have returned to Marina Beach in Chennai to photograph the life that unfolds along its shoreline. While the beach is often recognised as a landmark, it is equally a living public space where work, leisure, tradition, and everyday life come together.

This ongoing documentary project records the changing rhythms of Marina Beach through fishermen, vendors, morning walkers, children at play, festivals, and fleeting moments that define one of India's most vibrant urban landscapes.
