Synchronized Synergy

Pushkar Camel Fair takes place every year in November. It is a 10-day-long event primarily known for livestock trading. One of India's largest fairs, it showcases camels, horses, and cattle. This photograph was taken in 2016, and what caught my attention was how perfectly the man's head aligns with the Giant Wheel and the captivating color combination.

Serenity

As the golden rays of the rising sun cast a soft glow over the landscape, a serene morning unfolds at Jal Mahal, the Water Palace of Jaipur. The tranquil scene captured in this photograph is one that epitomizes the ethereal beauty and historic grandeur of the Pink City.

The picture showcases the magnificent Jal Mahal, an architectural marvel nestled amidst the calm waters of Man Sagar Lake. The palace, adorned with intricate Rajput and Mughal architectural elements, rises gracefully from the water, reflecting its elegant facade in the placid lake surface.

Getting Ready

Sri Mutharmman temple is located at Kulasekharapattinam village near Tiruchendur 55 km south of Tuticorin, Tamilnadu, India. In this temple, Dasara is celebrated as a big festival. Lakhs of people are assembled here to celebrate this festival. The uniqueness and oddity of the festival are that the devotees need not spend from their pocket. On the last day, the seashores of this otherwise deserted coastal village turn into a veritable carnival of folk music and folk dance of the devotees in their chosen fancy dresses to either solicit the grace of or to thank for the boon granted by presiding deity Sri Muthramman considered to be the incarnation of Sakthi the consort of Lord Shiva in Hinduism.

I have visited this place in 2022 to photo document the events and their culture.

A morning at Kolkata ghat

Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, is a city rich in history and culture. It is the oldest living city in India and was once the capital of British India.

I have been going to Kolkata since 2013 to document daily life at different places. This picture was taken in 2019 and it is one of my best of 2019. I always love to have a foreground, middle, and background to give a sense of depth and I also like to have layers in my street photography.

Taj Mahal

I have visited Taj in 2013 during winter. It was a misty morning. Taj Mahal is beautiful from any viewpoint. But, this particular viewpoint is across the Yamuna river. The fog made it like a dream-like scene. This is one of my favorite pictures from the Taj Mahal collection.
